Professional experience before becoming a consultant:
For many years, Konrad held positions including Quality Manager and Production Director in companies spanning various industries.
Konrad understands the consequences of prolonged product delivery delays, even when ample stock is available. As a result, he is well versed with the challenges faced by management. Thanks to his proactive approach, companies often achieved a high standard of customer service and developed the agility to handle unexpected demands seamlessly. One company’s commitment to this management approach led to the same client signing a three-year contract extension, reflecting their satisfaction with the collaboration.
Konrad has experience of a supplier notifying him that an expected delivery time had ‘slightly’ increased from 48 hours to 52 weeks. He used it as an opportunity to implement the S&OP process and systematize priorities in customer service. This theoretically "catastrophic" information became the beginning of a much better cooperation between all departments in the company.
Through his prior professional experience, he recounts a situation where a customer placed a large order for a customized product that required approximately two weeks of work to manufacture. However, the customer ultimately did not collect the order. This resulted in several million zlotys ($1m+) worth of products sitting in the warehouse unused. Konrad addressed this issue by implementing forecasts and establishing clear rules for releasing production orders. As a result of these measures, the problem of uncollected product batches did not recur.
Professional experience as a consultant:
Konrad has years of experience conducting comprehensive planning diagnoses following the MPM methodology. He leads training sessions and workshops on master planning, including S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and MPS (Master Production Schedule), as well as production scheduling.
During his training sessions, Konrad emphasizes the importance of active participation and engagement. Short assignments are given to reinforce the content covered, ensuring that participants are fully prepared for each subsequent session.
Konrad possesses extensive experience spanning production, quality, and technology domains. He has conducted internal training and workshops focusing on TPS/Lean Manufacturing, covering topics such as LM Coordinator, Kanban, 5S, and problem-solving methodologies including 7 tools, FMEA, APQP, and Shainin DOE in quality and production realms. Additionally, he oversaw audits of production areas (quality, production, logistics) utilizing Rapid Plant Assessment methodology and VSM (Value Stream Mapping).
Konrad has delivered training courses for esteemed companies such as ABB, Bama Polska, BCC, Corning Optical Communications Polska, Deloitte, Exact, Honeywell, HTL, Hulanicki Bednarek - HB Energia, IKEA, Infosys, JTI, Kosmepol (L'Oreal factory), Lacroix, Nowa Szkoła, Oriflame, Plastic Omnium, Polpharma, PPG Polifarb Cieszyn, Rationel Polska (Dovista), SMP Poland, TA Hydronics (IMI group), Tenneco Automotive, TPV CIS, TRI Poland, and Valeo Slovakia (U-Shin Slovakia sro), among others.
He consistently engages in enhancing coaching qualifications to meet APICS standards for continuous improvement. Konrad’s dedication was recognized in autumn 2017 when he attained the esteemed title of CPIM Lead Instructor - the second person to be awarded this in Poland and the tenth in Europe.
Konrad is a licensed trainer for TFC – The Fresh Connection, an advanced supply chain simulator. This innovative web-based business simulation actively involves participants in making strategic decisions to manage enterprise processes.
